Want to Learn How to Make an Extra $1,000 a Month?

I would LOVE to make an extra $1000 per month. That would so absolutely amazing things for our budget. Earning money online is much more realistic than I thought. As a stay at home mom, this would be a wonderful amount of money to earn, think of all the things we could do! We could pay down debt, invest more for retirement and be able to afford piano lessons and swimming much more easily. Oh, and a vacation. I want more vacations!

I’ve recently been paying more attention to the demographics of my readers, commenters, and those of you that email me with questions. I’ve noticed that the readership is primarily made up of single mothers and other bloggers. Though, I do see some interest from married women showing up on the site more often than I used to. That being said, the one commonality that the readers all seem to have in common is that they work from home, at least part-time. That could be in the form of a 9-5 job, a homemaker, or even simply unemployed. The stay-at-home crowd seems to be growing in numbers these days. And for those of us that still dredge ourselves to the office each and every morning, the American dream is to free ourselves from that burden and to be financially independent. Over the last several years blogging I’ve had the pleasure of watching many of my ‘virtual friends’ take the plunge and quit their brick-and-mortar jobs in exchange for the dream of self-employment. For me online income is too cyclical and volatile, I enjoy the peace and serenity of having healthcare and knowing when and where my next paycheck is coming from. Regardless, I’ve still worked my butt off over the past several years and I’ve allowed myself to earn a nice side income from my online efforts.

When I stop and think about the knowledge I’ve built up the past few years, and the common denominator of my growing readership base, I realized that I hold some very valuable information for all of you….how to make extra money while sitting on your ass! No joke, this isn’t one of those “get rich quick” books from an author who made all of his money selling that very same book! Or that blogger who posts up the generic article on his site about “how to make easy money” that he pulled off of 1,000 different sites and regurgitated. I hate those self-help guru’s that write books about how they can make you an extra $50,000 a year by following their structured and rigid courses. They always peddle that B.S. about how you need to exercise more, jot down ideas and brainstorm, get the creative juices flowing, attend entrepreneurial classes, etc etc etc…all that non-concrete fluff that doesn’t really help anyone…ever.

What if I was to tell you that I could teach you how to make $1,000 a month, and you could achieve it within 6 months? Not with a bunch of fluff advice, but clear and concise instructions, like the kind you would get for assembling a table from IKEA.

Making extra money isn’t all that hard to do, it just took me years of trial and error to figure it all out. From being a virtual assistant, to article writer, or a blogger selling advertisements, I know a lot of ways to make money just by turning on your computer.

Here are a few interesting facts that I think you would like to know:

1.)   I pay a guy $500 a month to write articles for me, and he has been doing so for two years. Talk about sustainable income for him!

2.)   I have other random virtual tasks that are manual and I’m no good at…they used to take me about 10 hours a month to complete… I now have a virtual assistant I pay $200 each and every month to handle for me, pretty solid money for that person as well.

3.)   I make money for doing nothing… it’s called Google Adsense. People come to my site(s) and click on advertisements based on their search queries. I make a minimum of $100 each month from it.

4.)   Sometimes I suggest products I like and use, and then I provide a link on my site to that product. If someone decides they like it and then purchase it, I get a cut…that’s called affiliate revenue.

5.)   I offer direct advertisements on some of my sites, it’s sort of like brand placement within articles, and advertisers are happy to pay a premium for it. I just like to make sure it’s relevant to the article/site…this can garner $100+ per each placement.

I’m letting all of you know about this because I’ve been trying to branch out on my online offerings. I currently handle advertising initiatives for over 300 websites. That means that I have several blogging clients for which I find suitable ad placements for their sites and then take a small commission. It’s a great source of extra income that I use to pay down my mountain of student loan debts. But I also realized that I hold a wealth of knowledge when it comes to making money online. I’ve been doing it for 5 years now, and I’ve made money about a dozen different ways online. I could take just about anybody off the street and teach them how to make an extra $1,000 a month from the comfort of their own home, and it has nothing to do with filling out online survey’s at a penny a pop, or becoming one of those annoying telemarketers.

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to roll out my ideas… do I write an e-book explaining the front to back of how to make $1,000+ a month online, and if so, how much do I charge for it? Or do I offer a personalized package for a one-time fee in which I consult with you on how to start earning some moolah? If so, what should I charge for that? Or maybe the solution is that I charge a reasonable recurring monthly payment as your “online revenue consultant” in which I continuously assist you in making money each month.

I know my methods work because I did it! I also taught two of my friends how to do it, and they still are earning extra money now. I’ve also assisted others I’ve met online, and in fact I am currently helping them make money as we speak. I figured I hold a very valuable product, and the means to market it…but exactly how do I go about it?

What do you think…as one of my readers, is this something that would interest you? How much would you be willing to pay in order to make $1,000+ a month from home? How should I go about offering such a service?

  1. An extra 1,000 a month? Honestly, $1,000 a month is already a salary for a manager here in our country! Your article writer must be very thankful to you, $500 a month is such a very good pay.

    • Yep, $1000 a month is actually more than achievable, but convining people they can do it, and then getting them to stick to it is the real issue. I almost gave up several times in the beginning, but I was able to surpass that amount each month eventually.

  2. Justin, think you should write an e-book. Generally, I agree that $1,000per month (and even more) is doable. If one is building a blog though it may take longer to get there.

    • I think you may be right… I havent generated as much interest from this post as I thought I would. Though I can’t blame them, Im used to not believing these types of “make money now” posts either lol.

  3. It’s really hard for me to make an extra of $1000 a month. That amount is a salary for the highest ranked in the company here in our country! Even just $300-$500 is a great pay. You’re really good.

    • I’m not sure where you are from, but with the ability to work in a virtual environment you can perform online jobs here in the U.S. that would pay you more money. I would give it shot!

  4. If it is as genuinely easy as you suggest, I’d happy split the $1000 with you 30/70 for 6 months. You take the 70, I’ll keep the 30, otherwise the offer is the same as every other offer – pay me and I’ll teach you, honest!
